PLUSAIR
ROLE: UX&UI designer
DURATION: 1 Month
Mission&Vision
Each manager in Plusair will be assigned to 3 planes. The application should enable the manager to
easily plan and modify flight plans for each of them.
• Each flight happens once per day.
• They need to be able to get the distance (km), date of flight, start/destination points, and
a record of past and future flight plans.
• They need to be able to view all 3 flight plans on a map.
• They need to get feedback when there is a problem with the flight path and when a flight
path intersects with the path of another plane for any given day.
Whole Process
As a designer, I began by crafting a persona tailored to the application's requirements. Following this, I conducted thorough user research, employing a combination of interviews with managers to glean valuable insights. Simultaneously, I sketched and designed, developing user flows to visualize the user experience, continuously iterating based on feedback. This iterative process led to the creation of prototypes, culminating in the development of final mockups for the web application.

Persona
Creating personas is crucial for me in UX projects. They're like crafting characters based on our research, helping us understand users better and design products users will enjoy using.

Interview
I interviewed 5 participants. three of them work in the company as the manager and two of them work for the other company. This step helped me a lot because I could find more pain points.

- How do you currently track and record past and future flight plans for each plane?
- Can you tell me about any instances where you've encountered problems with flight paths intersecting with the paths of other planes? How did you identify and address these issues?
- Can you walk me through your current process for planning and modifying flight plans for the three planes you manage?
- What are the biggest challenges or pain points you encounter when managing flight plans for multiple planes?
- Can you share any additional thoughts or suggestions for improving the process of planning and modifying flight plans for multiple planes?

Insights
Based on the research part , here are some insights that designers might uncover during the "Empathize" stage:

Brainstorm
Brainstorming with the product owner and team: Collaborating to ignite creativity and drive user-centric solutions also peresent the foundings.
Crazy eights
8 minutes 8 ideas! Crazy Eights is an effective way to stimulate creativity, explore diverse perspectives, and generate a multitude of potential solutions in a short amount of time.

User flow
the userflow and low-fi wireframes changed several times based on each other.

Design low-fidelity wireframes
I began by sketching out initial ideas for myself, then transitioned to creating low-fidelity wireframes. These wireframes allowed me to validate my concepts with both the team and developers before moving on to the mockup phase. Using low-fidelity wireframes ensured that any necessary changes could be easily implemented, streamlining the design process and ensuring a smoother transition to the final product.

Tets
I conducted useability testing, A/B testing
for the A/B testing, we tested 50 users. it was not a single A/B testing, we changed many things to reach to the result for most of the A/B testing more than 70% of the users were confident and happy with the design you see above.
For usability testing, the number of participants needed is typically smaller compared to A/B testing.so we decided to conduct it with five users to make sure navigation in the web app and dashboard is easy for them
